Line:

Patrick Walters prefers straight braid when it comes to walking topwaters. His go to choice is usually 30LB.

Rod:

Patrick Walters likes to have as long of a rod as possible when it comes to walking topwaters. Using anything from 7'4" to 7'11", length is truly your friend in this case.

Reel:

For your reel, it's important to have a fast gear ratio. Patrick likes to use reels with an 8:1 gear ratio.
