How to Choose the Right Lipless Crankbait

Tue, September 28, 2021

Cade Laufenberg likes using a lipless crankbait throughout the fall in shallow water and his favorite is the Red Eye Shad. The two characteristics he uses to choose the right color are water clarity and sky conditions. In clearer water gravitate to the more natural colors. Also step up in size and weight if larger shad are present or you need to get the bait down deeper.
